世田谷区では、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会の開催を契機に、馬事公苑界わいの地域資源や魅力を向上し発信する様々な取組を実施しました。
本ガイドでは、馬事公苑から最寄りの5駅（千歳船橋駅、経堂駅、上町駅、桜新町駅、用賀駅）までの馬事公苑界わいのまちの魅力を紹介しています。馬事公苑界わいを訪れる日本人をはじめ、外国人にも魅力を知ってもらえるよう、日本語版と英語版を作成しました（英語テキストも弊社が執筆）。
企画・制作においては、ガイドを手に取っていただいた方に楽しく読んでもらえることや、ガイドがコミュニケーションを生むきっかけになることを大切にしました。
まちの魅力をストーリー仕立てで紹介し、タイムスリップを通じて馬事公苑界わいの歴史を辿りながら現在に受け継がれた様々な地域の文化や市民の活動を紹介しています。
また、イラストを指すだけで探しているものが意思表示できるページなど、地域の方々とのコミュニケーションを後押しするツールを取り入れました。
Setagaya Baji Koen Equestrian Park Area Guide
Baji Koen (meaning Equestrian Park) in Setagaya City became the host venue of the equestrian competitions of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In light of the events, Setagaya City published the Baji Koen Equestrian Park Area Guide to promote the area.
Through this guidebook, you can learn more about the neighboring communities of the Park through five themes that weave through the area: street life and culture, traditional customs, early landscapes, city symbols, and residential areas.
Working closely with Setagaya City, our team contributed to the production process, including the concept development, writing (in both Japanese and English), editing, illustration, design, and layout.
